Launch Legacy Consulting is available to help you objectively assess your development operations—the overall development structure; activities; processes; team’s strengths, weaknesses and roles; and your donor practices—to assess what is working well and where improvements may be made. Launch Legacy will challenge the status quo and make suggestions with an eye toward instituting processes, enhancing efficiency, aligning resources, and ensuring that the structure, staffing and activities are in place to support a well-functioning development shop.

  • Historic results of your fundraising strategies and an estimated return on investment 

  • The structure of the development team

  • Data management practices 

  • Policies, procedures, fund accounting, and alignment with Finance

  • Prospect and donor management practices and processes

  • Donor relations practices and processes

  • The Assessment culminates in a written evaluation of the findings and includes recommendations with specific, actionable steps so that you can feel confident in your fundraising plans for the future. 

     

Implementation

If desired, Launch Legacy can also assist in the implementation of recommendations, such as assistance with the development or revision of job descriptions; job postings; interviewing candidates; training new hires; implementing a prospect management system; training staff on various development topics; serving in an interim staff management role, and the like.
